Mark and I finally got away. We spent one night in San Francisco and three nights in Carmel. He had conference to attend, so I tagged along.
We love San Francisco and will be forever grateful to Nick and Vanessa for living there for so long (and letting us visit and live there for 3 months). It feels a little like "our" city.
It rained almost the whole time, but the peace of just the two of us was great.
Thank you to mom, Anne, Sarah & Heidi for taking care of the kids so we could get away.
